Your're missing lots of steps if that's everything you did. What about
make modules and modules_install? What does modprobe -c say? depmod
-e? Any errors when you rmmod and insmod? You did run sndconfig?
When do you run sfxload?

Hi! Glad you're still with us! What's in the works?

I swear it didn't work for me. Even the install-rh.sh had a problem.

This is what I had to do to get it to work. But I had so many other
problems with RH's version of the kernel (no one else's patches would
ever work against it!) I was glad to get rid of it.

Yes, I realized how it was broken and fixed it.

Has anyone looked into Creative's new sound cards?
