Ok, things seem to have drifted off topic, so let's revisit the
recertification concensus point:

Recertification:

LPI will not require certificate holders to renew or recertify.  LPI
will provide to third parties, at the certificate holder's request,
information pertaining to the history of certifcations(s) passed, the
date the certification(s) were passed, and the revision date/level(s) of
the completed certification(s).  In providing this information, LPI
reserves the right to indicate the current revision level of any or all
of the certification(s) passed by the certificate holder and to issue
public advisories concerning changes in the content or objectives of the
certification(s).

Sounds good to me.

Note the change from "test(s)" to "certification(s)" throughout the text
for clarification.  Also note that as this is currently worded it will
require a minor change in our recently accepted privacy policy.  (See
the linux-cert archives.)  Specifically:

"The register will be accessible through the ID for public use of the
registree (which has to be disclosed by the registree to the inquirer),
and it will return the certification status, date the certificate was
granted, and the name of the registree holding the ID and the
certificate."

Will the revision level of the certificate be crossed to the linux kernal revision(s) covered?

Will need to be changed to include the revision level of the
certification.  Thanks for catching that Tom.

Jared
