What is Latest reliable kernel?

Hi pals
I have to upgrade my Slackware Linux because I have upgraded my PC and
the current Linux does not support the new hardwares.

Can anybody tell me what is the most reliable version? I mean with least
bugs (or better bug free)? My system is PentiumII ASUS P2L-B mainboard
and my graphic card is S3 AGP/4MB. I need to install the one that can
support my system.
