Having some partition troubles while attempting to install RH5.1 to my
OS/2 machine..

Maxtor 5250 5.2g drive..

After installing RH to the linux prt'n, and getting a successful
swapdisk setup,
OS/2s Bootmanager tells me the linux drive isn't formatted..
I suspect my trouble is with the Primary Swap disk, and the Logical
linux drive..
I've been unable to make the linux drive into Primary..

After the first install, which was successful, I have been unable to get
a complete re-install.. Even after deleting /dev/hda4 & /dev/hda9,
recreating, etc..

Tips anyone? I sure hate to carve-up the HD if I don't have to..

My background:

I've installed linux before, and ran it for a test drive or more..
Started getting used to it, but I put most of my time into the DOS BBS
running in OS/2..
I truly love OS/2.. And M$ ain't gettin my dough..

My intentions are to put up a dial-in system to start, and a www/ftp
server in the future.. But I'm still new to it all, and am not in a
rush.. This is my hobby..
Any tips?

I was never able to get Xwindows working with previous installs, and am
anxious to see what it's about.. So I suspect I'll be back with more Qs
later..
