Hello All,

I just set up a scsi tape drive on my second Linux box (Red Hat Linux
release 5.1 (Manhattan) Kernel 2.0.34 on an i486) and it's working fine.
Unfortunately it's the slower box with less memory, anyway....what is the
best way to do remote backups so that I can back up my main Linux box. I
don't have room for the SCSI adapter in it, but I'd like to get it backed
up with this new drive.

Info: wallybox (no tape drive) wallybox2 (scsi tape drive)

I know that I can use something like the --file [HOSTNAME:]F option using
tar, but I've been using KBackup, and I kind of like it. Is there anyway
to use this to backup wallybox and still keep all the symlinks and
permissions on the files?

Any and all help and/or suggestions welcomed. I'm willing to try anything
at least once. :)

Best Regards,
Tim
