Seeing as we're on the subject of recompiling ones kernel - any hints for
fixing errors? I thought that most options would work together, so I
didn't worry too much when choosing - I just want to get my 2.0.34 kernel
to work with sound. (RedHat 5.2) I used menuconfig as well as plain old
config but both times it came up with errors towards the end of the
compile. I guess the errors would help to diagnose it but I don't have
them with me at the moment. I was following the HOW-TO, but no luck. Any
hints/pointers to make the job a little easier?
