I'm using slackware 3.6 with kernel 2.2.5. I'm trying to get my cd-rom
to work. It's a creative labs combo job, one of those sb16pnp sound cards
with an IDE port on it. I'm using isapnptools-1.15, wondering if I need
the latest version, and have set all the addresses correctly, see the
file:
/usr/doc/isapnptools-(version)/readme.ide for an explanation, and yet I
keep getting the error:
init_module, device or resource busy.
On another subject, I'm trying to configure my pnp nonwinmodem. It is
not working either, also using isapnptools and setserial, but I'm not
getting an error and no additional devices are taking up interrupts.
If anyone can help please let me know.
