Two things:
First of all, I'd put the card into NE2000 mode. To me, that's just
easier than trying to make the other driver work.
Secondly, I'd recommend you to look at IP Masquerading. I sounds
like you want to have your LAN connect to the internet by way
of a single dynamic PPP modem.
