Hello,
I am just installing RH-LINUX 5.2 in my PC in which i had earlier Windows
95. In 95, i was using a PCI 100/10M NIC card (PnP) which used IRQ 10 and
I/O address EC00-ECFF.
Right now while installing linux, it detected about LAN card and gave me
option for LAN configuraion But it cannot find the card in its databases.
The card is Genious But Linux doesn't know. I tried to choose NE2000 PCI
and tried to Autoprobe but no success. So i tried Manually give parameters
using Specific Options But it asks me to tell it Module Options which i do
not understand. I looked in the Installation Guide too but couldn't find it.
Can anybody tell me how can i tell installtion process about my PCI card
(IRQ and I/O address) so taht it will install the network modules..
Any advice/help is highly appreciated.
