Interesting. I think this means RH 6.0 uses a modified version of the
original smbmount (the syntax used to be like that; newer samba versions
include a smbmount that uses that old syntax) and not the smbmount that
ships with samba-2.0.5a, and then includes it in the .rpm. Most
intriguing.
At any rate, if you substitute the rpms for compiling and installing the
samba tar.gzs you'll get the old syntax and expected behavous.
