I'm not sure if this is a config problem or a kernel problem, please let
me know if this is the wrong list.
I have installed RH 6.0 on a P3 450 with a TMC T16NBF+ motherboard (VIA
82C693 Apollo Pro Plus chipset) with 256MB ram.
All 256 MB are found in the startup messages and are also found by
windows running on the same machine.
Linux only sees 64MB :(
I have tried all possible combinations of dimm and slot and when I, as a
check, started the same machine with a single 32MB dimm, the memory was
correctly reported, but any combination > 64MB only shows as 64MB.
Is there anything I should set in my kernel configuration to enable
large memory models? I don't recall this problem on a Dell Power Edge
with 256MB.
