Dear all,

I am desperatly trying to fall in love with Linux, but it sometimes
seems like an uphill battle! I have two printers:

1) HP LaserJet 3150 (fax/scanner/printer/...etc.) which is attached to
a external JetDirect 170X print server, using IP.
2) Canon BJC 5100, which I wanted to attach to my Linux box.

I have been trying to find config information and all I have found is
info that seems to say neither work with Linux...

LJ 3150 - http://www.linuxprinting.org/show_printer.cgi?recnum=266185
BJC 5100 - http://www.linuxprinting.org/show_printer.cgi?recnum=21536

Is that it, end of story! Do I have to buy another printer or is there
any alternatives?

Plain text would be a start, but I really want to use Staroffice.

Please help. Thanks,

Simon
