I really don't know what to recommend for you. Both NFS and SAMBA are
known to have serious security vulnerabilities infact if you look in
almost all firewalls there are specific port blocks for NFS and Samba but
I think if you have a static IP at home then you will be able to do it
securely by only allowing access to your IP.
