This is likely to make a great deal more sense if you look at your
/etc/modules.conf file.
Hopefully within you'll find some explanation of what char-major-108
is supposed to be. On my system, it's set to ppp_async. If this is
something you don't want, you can alias it to off.

There are no physicists in the hottest parts of hell, because the
existence of a "hottest part" implies a temperature difference, and
any marginally competent physicist would immediately use this to
run a heat engine and make some other part of hell comfortably cool.
