I did that too and the problem arises when setup is asking me to point to
base and rpms files on my hdd. I point it to the partition /dev/hda5 (my
drive D in DOS) and to the paths: /redhat/base, /redhat/rpms,
/redhat/instimag/usr/bin or /usr/etc and setup tells me that it cannot find
installation tree.... so that's where I got stuck with installation from
hdd. I used Red Hat 5.2 for this because on the Red Hat 6.1 CD file called
<translation table> that is in every directory cannot be copied by Win98
(windows always gives an error).
I wasted whole day yesterday and today trying to get this thing working, so
any help is welcome.
