Try cat'ting the file to see if the 5 got there.  Try 7
instead to switch on logging.

If you are using masquerading, try telnetting from your
Windows machine to an IP-Address on the net to see if it
is a Netscape problem.

Are you sure it is 2.0.34?  'uname -a'.  There is a bug in 2.0.33
with masquerading.

It should work.  How long does diald take to connect.  Perhaps
it is too slow/Netscape is too impatient.  You might want to
do a tcpdump on the connection to see what happens.  It's very
cryptic about things, unfortunately.

Diald has a similar feature, strict-forwarding, that AFAIK
doesn't work, so don't try to use that.
