All,
I still cant get it to work.
Can someone give me a step by step diald
for dummies....(yes the dummies refers to me)
I'll give a breakdown of my current configuration:
Pentium II 300 MHz
33.6 Modem (on Com2)
Red Hat 5.2
Using linuxconfig I successfully configured a dial-up
to my ISP. Connects pings surfs the web etc etc
The current dial-up used PAP authentication.
Can someone tell me (or does someone have
sample connect scripts etc,)
Step by step to get diald to work.
I am currently using default standard.filter
and diald.defs
Regards,
Darryl
P.S. This type of autdial
is REALLY easy on Win95/98.
If we want to win over the unwashe masses
this sort of thing HAS to be easy to
implement.
I am trying to use this setup to grow into departmental
access to web/mail using Masq,IP forwarding etc,
but I can't even get fist step to work.
