I'm very, very new to Linux and the Unix world. Here is what I'm trying to
do:
Home network consisting of 4 Windows 95/98 machines and 1 Linux box.
I want to have the Linux box be the gateway/router to the Internet for the
Windows machines.
I have been able to install Linux and have it dial up my ISP and connect
fine. What I can't get done is have the Windows machines use this
connection to access the web.
I've tried installing the diald package, but when I run RPM is fails with
dependency checks on ld-linux.so.2 and libc.so.6
Questions:
1. Is diald supported under OpenLinux 1.2 from Caldera?
2. Is what I'm attempting to do possible with just Linux and diald or do I
need other packages to make it work.
Please help. Thanks.
