A couple of weeks ago I changed all the syslog calls to also
write to any monitor connections that were listening for them
so you can see what is going on in the dctrl message window.
Last week I added a load of pipes to catch the stderr output
from scripts that diald runs so you can watch then screw up :-).
Next is to clean up the various log levels used by messages.

My TODO list includes the line "Rewrite dctrl in Java". This has
progressed to the point where I've deleted the smiley. It shouldn't
be a difficult job to write a Java monitor using dctrl as a model...
