Hi!
When I issue a block command to diald's fifo, it takes very long until the
ppp daemon is signalled. Have look on the syslogs:
Nov 23 23:44:07 banshee diald[19390]: FIFO: Block request received.
[cut]
Nov 23 23:44:54 banshee pppd[19680]: Terminating on signal 2.
Nov 23 23:44:55 banshee pppd[19680]: Connection terminated.
What can cause such a delay? System load was below 2.
Moreover, this wasn't the cause a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately I
don't have any clue which change to my system may have triggered that
effect. It can't be the upgrade to pppd 2.3.5, or can it? If not, what
else?
