In the Os/2 and Win Versions, there is a offline button, as well as the
option to fire up netscape from the login window in the offline mode, but in
the Linux Version (4.51 and 4.6) I have not been able to locate any method of
going offline either:-(

However, the 4.6 version of Netscape appears to have fixed the bug that
caused lockups when it the internet was not available. I've even been able
to set up netscape here on my linux box to fire up in the messenger window
only:-) (I tried that with 4.51 and had to shutdown Xfree to get the system
running again (Ctrl-Alt-F1 and then Ctrl-C). Then I had to find the lock
file in netscape and delete it. 4.6 seems to be rnning a bit smoother than
version 4.51:-)
