Hi,
I have been using diald 0.16.5a for sometime now with great success. I
have sorted the spurious dial-ups from Win95 and Netscape or Outlook
checking for new mail, etc and it has been very reliable. I am using
RedHat 5.2 with kernel 2.0.36.
I have now installed an ISDN card (Eicon Diva 2.01 ISA bus) and have got
that working. My ISP needs synchronousPPP therefore I am using the ippp0
device.
There are some comments in the ISDN4Linux FAQ regarding using ISDN with
diald, and that patches are available to make diald work with ISDN. The
ftp site mentioned no longer seems to exist. Can anyone help me?
What do I need to do to make diald trigger an ippp device to dial out
over ISDN?
Does anyone have the patches mentioned in the ISDN4Linux FAQ?
I have tried to compile diald 0.99 with kernel 2.0.36, but it gives
several errors.
I would be most grateful for any help.
Regards
