I compiled the new diald-0.99 and had only two minor "problems"
1) SuSE automatically generates a diald configuration file that contains
the option "reroute" which apparently is no longer needed so diald gives
a warning about this.
2) When diald starts it results in 16 error messages from modprobe:
modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module tap#
where # is a number from 0 to 15.
Otherwise it works so far. With the 0.16 level I had a problem where
diald would occasionally die -- perhaps once every day or two. (The same
diald worked perfectly with the 2.0.36 kernel.) I've been running 0.99
for a little less than 2 days without this problem. Time will tell.
