I dont know the RH distribution, but did you do this rebuild with
a 2.2.x kernel ?
My understanding is that diald-0.99 works with kernel-2.2.x, whereas
diald-0.16 works with e.g. kernel-2.0.3x.
The smart thing for our diald-author might be to add some version-
checking in the code ? What do you say ?
I'm not up-to-date will all the version-numbering, so this statement
might be just a bit too narrow focused.
