Tim:

Several choices. If you have Netscape on the desktop for browsing and
Diald is the gateway start Netsape and go any where to the Internet. The
mail feature in Netscape can be set for that users choice of POP3 and SMTP
servers as well as username and password.

My clients use Pegasus mail on the desktop. Novell or Win 95 dedicated
servers, Linux with Diald for Internet access, Linux for uucp to get
company mail from outside hosted domain/website. If an individual wishes
to get their own mail I can configure the mail in Netscape to get the mail
but NOT clear it from the host. Then when they get home ( or otherwise )
they can retrieve it again and clear it form the host. Netscape starts
diald and once it is connected they get their mail.

Works 'right-some-good'

Or setup Pegasus with mulitple identities. Each identity can have unique
mail host characteristics. One of these connects to the external mail
source via diald. Because diald has logged them on to the Internet,
Pegasus will go and connect and login to where their non-business mail is
hosted and pick it up.

JAH
