Thanks Gyepi, it's now compiled and installed.
I wrote my diald.conf, and all seemed well. Until I fire up diald. Then
I can no longer do a netstat -r before or after dial-out to show the
routing table -  netstat hangs. Is this normal? Doesn't seem so to me.
Also, diald doesn't negotiate with my isp. pppd works fine, and I
trimmed down /etc/ppp/options for use with diald (some options conflict
apparently.) I'll post my /etc/ppp/options as soon as I can (the box is
offsite).
