I'm having a similar problem. Using tcpdump, I can see that the Win98 machine
is sending out a request to Uncle Bill's site at windowsupdate.microsoft.com
every so often. I have yet to figure out how to shut it off tho. Anyone? What
is really wierd is that only one of my three Win98 boxes are doing it.
