Re- PCTEL Modems.

Most PCtel modems I have had the misfortune to deal with were
a) Windows only
b)  Used the system CPU for all processing
c)  Required a 166 or higher Pentium to get even 33.6
d)  Used up all the system resources (e.g. CPU cycles) handling the modem 
and could only get about 1/2 the rated throughput.
e)  and based on above are not suitable for use by anyone.
