I have diald 99 installed with dialmon 0.7 (i.e. provides the WIN95 client
viewer/control.)on RH6.0. And, I would like dialmon to switch between two
ISP configs. Per the dialmon doc I have placed two ddconf statements in the
dialmon.conf file. Dialmon recognizes the configs in the dialmon control
panel. However, the Restart button doesn't fire up the second configuration
when selected. My /var/log/messages output looks fine--because it continues
to use the initial connection configuration.

The ddconf statements are as follows:

        ddconf ISPB "/etc/sbin/diald -daemon -f "/etc/diald/diald.conf.ispB"
        ddconf ISPC "/etc/sbin/diald -daemon -f "/etc/diald/diald.conf.ispC"

The two diald.conf.ispX files also point to different connect scripts.

Adding to the challenge, the dialmon log shows that it's using the second
configuration after restart. The messages log shows otherwise.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this problem?

Thanks,
Martin

PS. Should I be concerned about the missing tap and ppp-compress modules
logged when ppp starts? If so, where can I find these modules?
