I know this sounds really crude but if you add the same DNS servers (I
presume you have a local DNS server going - this makes things easier Ive
found) several times in the windows boxes by the time it times out the
link will be up and requesting of the next DNS server in the list which is
actually the same server!
It worked for me ;-)
