I think I must have been doing some perl around the same time.

Actually, I think I have that problem also. I'm not entirely sure
how to properly program for windowmaker, but if you dock the app, then
kill it, you should be able to start it from the dock. Hey, it works
for me!
If you know a better way, please let me know.
