Hello all. I got past my first problems with
diald. I needed to compile in some stuff I had made modules.
That was why it was not getting sockets. Now
on to the next 2 problems.
First, a questions about the connect script.
I am using the script
"/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifup ppp0". I
think this may not be
the right way to do this because the ifup script
does not kill ppp when it exits. The only
way to bring down the link is to run the
script
"/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifdown ppp0".
So my question is
should I be using this script or should I write my
own convential script from
the supplied connect script.
Second question, is that if I am using tap0 with
diald, is there anything different I need to do
in the diald.conf file?
