I shall be grateful for any advice that will help me to resolve the
problem that I am having with disconnecting once I have closed down
Netscape (4.07). Disconnection can take some three minutes.
I have installed diald on a 90 MHz Pentium, running SuSE-6.2 and
kernel version 2.2.13. It is a standalone machine, with no net card.
My ISP uses static addresses. When configuring diald, I have used
dummy addreses for establishing the link, as will be seen from the
configuration details that follow.
The /var/log/messages file that appears below was generated
by invoking the diald "debug" option. I'm sorry that this is rather
lengthy, but as I'm new to diald I am not sure which items might point
to the cause of the problem! The configuration files are also appended.
