I'm a Linux newbie but have managed to get Linux, chat, pppd, and IP masquerading up and running. Now I want to auto-dial with diald. Just getting diald to compile has been a headache (needed the 0.16.5 patch), but I'm finally past that hurdle. Now that it's compiled, it won't work. Going through all the configuration files with a magnifying glass only gave me one lead: bootpc, whose PATH_BOOTPC constant is defined in config.h. Lo and behold I can't find bootpc anywhere on my system, AND I can't seem to find it on my RedHat CD either. Does it have a creative name? Is bootpc required? If so, where do I get it and how do I get it running correctly?
