I started writing a Java client to do remote monitoring of diald via
diald-top-server
a while ago, it was originally written using AWT, I have now updated it
to JFC/Swing.
The reason for writing this tool due to the fact that my day to day work
station could
be on a number of different types SUN, Linux, Mac or Windoze, and I
did'nt want to run
telnet session. Plus it was fun to write !
Anyhow, getting to the point. What do people think about having a Java
client in the
current distribution ?
If I get a possitive response I'll tidy it up and write up some docs and
send it in.
