I think no. I think that ISDN matter is handled internally by the
ISDN adapter. The server talks with the adapter via standard AT
commands, (ATD to dial, CONNECT when senses the carrier, serial
line when the line is up, and so on).

By the way this ISDN connection worked very well with diald and a
serial configuration, till my provider changed servers and caused
me trouble sending packets to 224.0.0.x interface...
