I have recently spent over 12 hours getting my butt kicked by diald and
slackware 7.0 (2.2.13). What are the prerequistes for diald? Ihave ppp/slip
both compiled along with ip_forward, but not packet_forward. I can connect
with minicom..... diald did work :constantly" with the up option and so did
dns requests. Over and over again, diald would dial, connect and then drop
carrier, repeatedly so!!
