Dear List:
This may be a moot point, in that I may be switching ISPs, however I'll ask
the question anyway, in case it helps someone else.
My ISP has six modem pools, lets say one is at 555-1234 and another is at
555-4321 (both numbers are fake). Is there any way to tell diald that if
the pool at 555-1234 is having problems(a growing occurance), try the next
pool and see if it's having any better luck (not usually, but once in a
while the fifth or six number down the line works, this is why I may
switch). If the modem connects but the login fails (this happens too), it
shouldn't bother trying the next number.
