Hi Nicolas

The serial console patch is already in the latest development kernel
(1.1.126). You can get a patch for the 2.0.35 kernel at
http://www.linuxmama.com.

I think I have the same patch on my server at
ftp://ftp.ewingdata.com/serial-console.bz2.

If you want a very small kernel (runs in less than 1 MB), try the
linux-lite-v1.00.tar.gz file at ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/linux/kernel (I
think). It's a compact version of the old 1.0.9 kernel.

I am also trying to patch the linux-lite version to run on a PC-104 board
with a serial console. Let me know how you make out. Maybe we can swap
'hacks'.
