Don't know who any of these are. But I do not like it anyway, it seems a bit of
FAQ, a bit of a HOWTO, and a bit of a WHYTO.
I was thinking of an 'original' FAQ, the concept was born such that people
joining newsgroups or mailing lists could get a quick run down before asking
the same questions. I am thinking of something that simply points people to
existing sources or gives quick answers (such as the video possibilities).
I would try to have this stuck alonside the list archives, where it belongs.
Detailed descriptions of e.g. how to boot from flash/Eprom etc. would IMHO be
best done as a 'mini-HOWTO' (boot from ethernet is allready done) and be stuck
into the LDP archive, the FAQ would then just point at it. That way this
information gets diffused accross major distros in the /usr/doc tree.
I intend to outline the questions, then fill in the blanks, I hope you and
others will contribute where things like mini-HOWTOS are needed and not there,
I am no expert!
