Yes. Boot from CF works great! I've even set mine up with 3 partitions
(as in Neolinux/IGEL architecture ) as follows:

1. boot partition (never gets mounted - LILO tells BIOS where this is)
2. file systems - read only - all applications and necessary binaries go
here
3. user files - read / write partition

with a ram disk for /var files. Haven't cleaned up everything yet, but
it
boots and runs and ***you can turn if off***!! (as opposed to the silly
unix
shutdown stuff :-)

I'm using X / Netscape / Citrix / fvwm95 applications on a Media GX with
built-in LCD / USB / PCMCIA / Compact Flash / Touch screen. (all loaded
on
a 32MB CF)

This is built as a thin client with all the setup utility programs
written
using the FvwmScript capability: mouse / keyboard / screen / network /
startup / clock / touch calibration.

I'm not familiar with Cell Computing PlugNRun -ok..found it ... nice,
should work,
they have an IDE header (Try that with M-Systems :-o)

Let me know if you want any files - the whole thing is 12 MB compressed,
I can
ftp it somewhere....

Later,
Ralph
