Hi There,
As adviced by you I went for Tinylogin and and successfully installed but still I
cant login .Its giving an error now atleast.The error is login[45]:invalid password
for 'UNKNOWN'on tty1 .And this message is displayed just as I press enter after
entering the username as root.I guess something is wrong with the passwd file but I
cant find any since I am using the same /etc/passwd file of the system on which I am
trying to prepare the floppy.Just help me out.
I am stuck.Thanks in advance.

P.S : for others I am trying to build linux on a floppy and getting this
error.Tinylogin is a small utility to be used in place of /bin/login .
