I usually ignore speling erors sence I maek so many of my own, but to
avoid confusion I should correct Richard's excellent advice: the name of
the utilitiy is "hdparm", not "hdparam".

I admit having tried to run "hdparam" myself many times, but I always get
a "file not found" error!
