Hi all,

We are implementing dual USB host ports on our PowerPC860 platform
(Denx PPCBoot and Linux (based on kenel v2.4.4)) using the Phillips
ISP1161 and had a couple of interface questions, some simple, some not
so much.

Is this an appropriate controller to be using with Linux/860 or are
others better supported?

What .h or .c file specifies the hardware address for the USB controller?

Should we be using the OHCI or UHCI code for this controller?

Does the Linux USB driver support setting the USB controller to
suspend/resume through the hardware interface(H_SUSPEND, H_WAKEUP pins)
on the controller or through modifying the Control Register of the 1161?

How should the H_PSW1_N and H_PSW1_N pins be interfaced to the 860?

Are there USB on Linux newsgroups or list servers which would be more
appropriate for this question?

Thanks,

Derek
