Hi, I have some questions about kernel modules loading. While in Red Hat Linux, modules are described in /etc/modules.conf, modules are in /etc/modules in LEM. However, they seem to be different on describing modules. ----------------- In /etc/modules.conf, alias eth0 8139too pre-install ... ... options .. ....
In /etc/modules 8139too ---------------- 1. Did I misunderstand? If so, how can I write down the /etc/modules file? 2. How can I describe alias, pre-install, and options keywords in /etc/modules file? 3. Can I replay /etc/modules with /etc/modules.conf in RedHat Linux?
