Hi, There is no need to write a seperate modules file.Instead just edit the /etc/modules file so that it contains the names of the modules each in a seperate line .If you want to install a network module ,say rtl8139.o just enter like below.
rtl8139 And add rtl8139.o to /lib/modules. Regards Pradeep.
