Ack... Danger!  What are you dioing that you need 2.5.x?  2.5.x is a
developement kernel.  2.5 has _heavy_ changes to major sub-systems. 
I'm suprised it worked at all.

I not sure I understand how you are installing LEM from a CD.  LEM
comes as 2 tar files that you extract onto a target image.

I'm assuming that you mean that you are using the modules you got off
of the RH CD.  Which  are for 2.4.x since 2.5.x modules can't
possibly be packaged on a CD.  

Which means that there would be considerable difference between
compiling/installilng 2.5.x modules opposed to using the 2.4 stuff on
the CD.

You will have to tell us more about exactly what you are doing and
what the errors are to go much further.
