Hi,

here are my thoughts for 3.0:

- Remove code which depends on pacemaker (mgmt, dopd, CIM/SNMP)
- Remove unmaintained code (telecom/).

- Split up packages so heartbeat's cluster infrastructure layer can be
  installed separately from
- supporting libraries, resources, stonith, and lrm code

- The v1 code would remain in, because it's "harmless", but it should be
clarified that it is "not maintained." Unless, of course, somebody
  wants to.

- Clean-up some legacy cruft if possible, ie get rid of ConfigureMe and
  other autoconf abuse

The idea is to do some house-keeping and slim up heartbeat, so that it
can more readily be used with different cluster managers.

Any other ideas?

dev already contains a preview of what this could look like. Comments
are appreciated.

Regards,
    Lars
