Interesting comment -- I thought the latest announced release is still
2.0.8 (I've not seen anything newer 'officially' announced but perhaps I
missed it)...
So -- what is the official latest release these days? 2.1.0?
The last release from Alan was 2.0.8 based on code from December 2006.
Since then there have been:
1140 files changed, 43300 insertions(+), 36134 deletions(-)
Most of which were for bug fixes.
And for that reason I recommend the packages^ available from the suse
build service.
^ Remember they're not just for SUSE-based distros.
