I have a hacked up SRPM at http://www.columbia.edu/~alan/ham/ but
beware that this is unofficial (e.g. not blessed by the ax25utils
maintainers) and will core dump.  I quickly hacked it to do an
SIOCGIFwhatever on the ports named in axports instead of doing an 
SIOCGIFCONF and then comparing the list of returned interfaces to
what's in axports.  This works around the requirement to have an
IP address on interfaces that don't run IP.  However, if your callsign
in the axports file doesn't match the ifconfig'd call it will dump:-)
There's also another patch of mine that shows callsign-0 as callsign.
This change is not endorsed by the utils maintainers at this time.
It also changes socket(PF_INET... to socket(PF_AX25....

YMMV.  No binary RPM posted 'cuz it's not ready for binary install
without more review/fixing.
